We help work out ways to use familiar technologies suitably to our clients' abilities and needs.
Speech Recognition
Speech recognition uses a microphone to let you speak to your computer and control it. This is useful to those who dictate: doctors, lawyers, and professionals who write reports or other text. This can also be helpful for people with identified or suspected disabilities or difficulties: dictate documents, or even control light switches, fans and TVs.
Screen Readers
Screen readers use a text to spoken voice conversion to read aloud what others may see on a computer screen. This is useful for people with reading disabilities, visual impairment or for the blind.
Speech Enhancer
The Speech Enhancer is an analog computing technology that improves the ability of strangers to understand otherwise unintelligible speech.
This works well for individuals with severe to moderate cerebral palsy, or other neuromuscular difficulties.
Unfamiliar Technologies
If you have to use something unfamiliar to you...
... or to us ...
...we are able to investigate the details and help you work out ways to use the technologies suitably to your needs.
